This article discusses the role and strategy of the Sales &
Marketing Department in Sales Call activities in product
offerings at Amaris Hotel Banjar. Sales call is the main task
and routine activity carried out every day by Sales Executives.
The function of sales call activities is to promote hotels and
their supporting facilities and Sales Executives play an
important role in increasing revenue, namely in the form of
events held at hotels and room occupancy rates. The research
method in extracting data uses a method of collecting data
through interviews with resource persons, namely the Sales &
Marketing Department Coordinator, through the Amaris Hotel
Banjar brochure, and the author also uses the observation
method by practicing directly in the field following sales call
activities to find out how Sales Executives work in marketing.
product. The results obtained were that the sales call was
divided into 3 visits, namely go show/first visit, appointment
sales visit, and corporate sales mission. The products sold are
rooms, meeting packages, and banquet products.
