Abstract

The problem studied is about the causes of the lack of interest of
tourists towards the Hulu Sungai Selatan Folk Museum in
activities to improve good service. The objects of his research
were visitors to the Hulu Sungai Selatan People's Museum from
January 2016 to August 2016 and the Hulu Sungai Selatan
Regency Culture and Tourism Office as the party responsible
for the Hulu Sungai Selatan People's Museum. The research
method used is descriptive method, which describes a situation
or situation, especially those related to promotional efforts and
the role of service in attracting visitors to come to the Hulu
Sungai Selatan Folk Museum. The results of the study found that
the role of service and promotion in attracting tourists to
introduce the Hulu Sungai Selatan Folk Museum was not
optimal, the facilities and infrastructure were also less
supportive
