PENGEMBANGAN DAYA TARIK WISATA KOTA MELALUI PENGELOLAAN TAMAN KOTA DI BANJARBARU

Abstract

The problem studied is the lack of attention from the
government and the community towards the sustainability and
cleanliness of the river which is basically one of the main
attractions of tourism in South Kalimantan, especially
Banjarmasin. The research method used in this writing is
descriptive method where this method describes a situation or
state of facilities and facilities at the City Park Banjarbaru
namely Van Der Pijl Park and Banjarbaru Fountain Park. The
results of this study show that the existence of Taman Van Der
Pijl and Taman Air Mancur in the heart of Banjarbaru can be
an added value and a special attraction for the city of
Banjarbaru as a tourist city.
The conclusion of this research is that the existing facilities and
facilities in the city park of Banjarbaru are still lacking and still
need to be addressed, the vehicles, cleanliness and beauty in the
park are not given enough attention so that they do not attract
tourists' interest and activity management by related parties
(government) in city parks Banjarbaru is still not optimal,
because the promotions carried out are still not optimal and
there is no broad and open program that is routinely held to
introduce the beauty of Banjarbaru city parks, and there is no
collaboration with related parties such as travel and tour
agents.
