ANALISIS PELAKSANAAN STANDAR OPERASIONAL PROSEDUR KERJA ROOM BOY PADA DEPARTMENT HOUSEKEEPING DI HOTEL PALM BANJARMASIN

Abstract

Based on the findings from observations, interviews, and documentation, it can be seen that the implementation of room boy work procedures still requires supervision from superiors or supervisors in operations, this work plays an important role in improving the quality of room boy work. Regular and structured supervision, it will motivate the room boy in carrying out work procedures properly and correctly in accordance with the rules and regulations that apply to the hotel. The method used in this research is descriptive research to describe a situation/condition that is factual in a systematic and accurate manner. In other words, this method aims to describe a set of events/conditions. The conclusion of this study is that the cleanliness and service provided by the room boy at Hotel Palm Banjarmasin are quite good but there are still some points that are not in accordance with the procedure, it's just that the room boy still doesn't realize the importance of applying discipline..
