BAHASA INDONESIA BAGI PENUTUR ASING: PERSPEKTIF PARIWISATA

Abstract

The Indonesian Language Program for Foreign Speakers which is often referred to as BIPA in its development has progressed so rapidly, one of which is providing new opportunities for language institutions, language centers, and courses by providing additional courses or lecture services for Indonesian as a foreign language. The role of BIPA is also felt by large foreign companies developing in Indonesia. BIPA also provides positive values for the advancement of tourism in Indonesia by directly engaging as a tour guide or translator for foreign tourists.
